Beyoncè gave a shout-out to multiple Black female artists in ‘Queens’ remix, leaving fans overjoyed.
Just weeks after Renaissance was released, Queen Bey continues to spoil fans with the ‘Queens’ Remix to “Break My Soul.”
This latest version of “Break My Soul” features Madonna’s vocals and beats from her song “Vogue.”
In the original version, Madonna pays respect to many artists during that time.
However, Beyonce replaces those names with Black female artists in the’ Queen’ Remix.
The Houston icon shouted out:
“Queen Mother Madonna, Aaliyah, Rosetta Tharpe, Santigold, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Betty Davis, Solange Knowles, Badu this, so Kelly Rowl… Lauryn Hill, Roberta Flack, Toni, Janet, Tierra Wack. Missy, Diana, Grace Jones, Aretha, Anita, Grace Jones.”
Towards the song’s end, Beyoncè mentions her fellow Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams, Chloe x Halle, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj.
Many fans were thrilled by this. One fan, @heyjaeee, tweeted:
“BEYONCÉ DID NOT JUST REPLACE ALL THE WOMEN MADONNA NAMED IN VOGUE WITH BLACK WOMEN!!!! ICONIC!!!!!!!!”
Another fan, @Got2Van, said:
“Beyoncé using Madonna’s Vogue to call out some of the biggest black female artists… yes!”

Madonna took to Instagram to post the flowers Beyoncè sent her with a thank-you note.
In the card, Beyonce thanks the “Crazy For You” singer saying how Madonna “opened so many doors for so many women” and is a “masterpiece genius.”
