Chrissy Teigen and John Legend announce the heartbreaking loss of their baby


Chrissy Teigen revealed on Instagram early this morning that she suffered a devastating miscarriage.



Teigen shared the heartbreaking news on social media today, revealing she and her husband John Legend had chosen to name their third child Jack.


The 34-year-old posted a number of pictures from her hospital bed, including one of the couple holding their baby bundled up in a blanket.


Todays update came just days after she revealed shed been admitted to the hospital with excessive bleeding.


The post said; "We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain weve never felt before, the mum-of-two wrote to fans.



"We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasnt enough."


She continued; "We never decide on our babies names until the last possible moment after theyre born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack.

Teigen thanked fans for sending her and John "positive energy, thoughts, and prayers."

She posted on Twitter following up to say; "Driving home from the hospital with no baby. How can this be real."
