A cliff collapse in Zante has left seven injured in after rocks crashed onto a beach packed with Brits abroad.
Shocking video has emegred of a landslide taking place down on holiday goers at Vabaggio on the Greek island.
Terrified tourists can be seen fleeing in panic as the rocks crash down from above.
‘There was a rumble and a rock fell,’ an eyewitness told ANA as per The Sun. ‘Followed by a larger rock and then another.’
Rescuers are believed to be searching to see if there are any undiscovered victims trapped beneath the rocks.
A fire brigade official said:
So far, we haven’t found any trapped people but we will continue searching.
The video shows a wall of rock peeling from the cliff and crashing down on beachgoers below.
A few small boats managed to overturn thanks to the force of the landslide causing high waves in the sea.
Famous for its beaches, Zante, short for Zakynthos, is a popular destination with British citizens looking for a good time. Navagio (also known the Shipwreck Beach), is accessible only by boat. Other beaches on offer include Gerakas, Kalamaki, Porto Zoro, Banana and more.
