Famed techno and deep house producer Garrett Lockhart has died, a statement on his social media profiles announces today. He recently worked under the stage name of 'i_o' and 'Fawks'.
DJ and producer Garrett Lockhart has died aged 30.
The EDM star, who went under the name of i_o, sadly died on Monday, a statement shared across his social media pages confirmed.
Garrett's cause of death has not yet been revealed.
The producer from Washington DC, who recently released a mix of the international dance hit Castles In The Sky, also went under the pseudonym of Fawks throughout his career.
His death comes just weeks after he signed to Armada Music - one of the most famous dance record labels in the music industry.
Garrett had also recently launched his own label, Label 444.
A statement posted across his social media profiles reads: "On Monday, November 23rd, the world lost a beautiful soul, Garrett Falls Lockhart, also known as i_o.
"This extremely talented spirit taught us that even if nothing matters, you can still lead with love."
It added: "Garrett's truth and soul lives on through the music he shared.

Garrett was perhaps best known for working alongside Grimes on the 2019 smash hit track Violence, which featured on her album, Miss Anthropocene.
Fans and fellow musicians have since flocked to pay tribute, with Oliver Heldons commenting: "Can't believe this :( rest in peace."
Matt Medved wrote: "No words. I will miss you so much, my friend."
"What the f**k... This can't be true :( I'm so f**king sad. I love you, Garrett," added Yultron.
Duo Loud Luxury penned: "A beautiful and incredible soul. Rest in power, Garrett."
His legion of fans also took to social media to share their condolences, with one saying: "This tweet shattered my f**king heart dude."
