Tony de Vit INFLUENTIAL: Tony De Vit inspired a generation of DJs

De Vit was the most popular DJ in Britain at the time of his untimely demise, a firm favourite at clubs such as Cream, Chuff Chuff and Miss Moneypenny's not to mention Trade.

He is dubbed 'the inspiration for the harder generation', but he built his nationwide reputation playing everything from tough chunky house to uplifting Euro, from hypnotic trance to pounding techno.

And his seamlessly mixed vinyl sets often revolved around his own unique productions and remixes, the unmistakeable TdV sound, many of which crashed into the UK pop charts.

Tony's Irish protege Fergie tops the amazing line-up of 26 DJs who will play in multiple rooms.

Several producers whose tracks were regularly caned by Tony in his sets also feature Baby Doc, Jon The Dentist, Paul Janes, Paul King and Trade's the Sharp Boys.

Techno star Phutek, a close personal friend of Tony's, is already busy reworking Tony classics to play on June 7.
