Funeral of Noah Donohoe to take place today in Belfast

The funeral of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe is due to take place today in Belfast.

The teen went missing on Sunday, June 21 close to Shore Rd in north Belfast.

Police had voiced their concerns that he could have fallen off his bike in the area and sustained a head injury.

As the search for the young boy continued last Friday police discovered a number of items belonging to Noah.

On Saturday, the young boy's body was discovered in the north of the city.

His funeral today is a private family gathering at St. Patrick's Church in Belfast in line with public health guidelines.

Noah's family said his final journey past his school will allow people to pay their final respects while abiding by social distancing recommendations.

The Requiem mass is due to begin at St Patrick's Church on Donegall Street at 11 o clock.
