Jennifer Aniston reveals she almost quit acting two years ago

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she came close to quitting acting in the last two years.

The Hollywood superstar burst onto the scene as Rachel Greene in FRIENDS in the 90s.

Her glittering career almost came to an end recently, the 51-year-old has admitted.

During an appearance on the podcast SmartLess, hosted by fellow actors Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, the actress shared that an unprepared project she did several years ago had her wondering whether it was time to call it quits.

"I would have to say the last two years that has crossed my mind, which it never did before."

She clarified that this was on her mind before her role in The Morning Show, which saw her nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

I was like Woah that sucked the life out of me and I don't know if this is what interests me

But what would Aniston do without acting in her life?

Interior design, probably, she said.

I love it. It's my happy place. It's really a happy place for me.

The trio also asked Aniston to rank her top three past performances and it was no surprise what came out on top.

I loved, well, obviously Friends, she said.

That's a no brainer...I would have to say that would be number one.

She has teamed up with Adam Sandler plenty of times and 2011 flick Just Go With It came in at a close second.

I always love shooting with Sandler. Just Go With It was super fun.

''We've known each other since we were 19, she said of her co-star.

Aniston recently reunited with former husband Brad Pitt.

The former Hollywood power couple appear to be back on speaking terms again since he split from his wife Angelina Jolie in 2016.

Last year, Brad made a shock appearance at Jennifer's 50th birthday bash.

It continued with a Fast Times at Ridgemont High reunion.
