Man Utd complete incredible comeback against PSG on dramatic night at the Parc des Princes

Paris St-Germain 1-3 Manchester United (Agg: 3-3)

A late Marcus Rashford penalty completedan incrediblecomeback for Manchester United as they defied the odds to knock Paris St-Germain out of the Champions League.

PSG came into the Round of 16 fixture with a 2-0 advantage from the first leg at Old Trafford but were sent packing from the competition by a United side who were without a number of key men including Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.

The French champions disappointed on the European stage once again as a brace from Romelu Lukaku thrust United back into the tie.

The Belgian striker fired the Red Devils into a second-minute lead but Juan Bernat soon hit back after latching onto Kylian Mbappes cross.

Lukaku, however, doubled his tally after capitalising on a Gianluigi Buffon blunder to give the visitors hope.

It looked like they would fail to find the all-important third goal until the referee dramatically awarded a penalty after a VAR review for a handball from Presnel Kimpembe.

Rashford stepped up in the 94th minute to fire home the spot-kick - the first time the Englishmanhas taken a penalty for United - and send the away fans into delirium.

United now become the first team to ever reach the next round of the Champions League after losing the 1st leg of a knockout match at home by 2+ goals.

Solskjaer was hired on an interim basis when Jose Mourinho was axed in mid-December.

He has inspired a stunning turnaround in results, and reaching the Champions League last eight is the icing on the cake.

And fans were quick to hail Solskjaer on social media.

Lazarus just put up a poster of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on his wall.#PSGvMUN #championsleague #ManUnited

Offer Solskjaer the job tomorrow. Hes dragged this club back to where it should be in just 17 games. Seventeen games! Were winning away games for fun, weve got a squad again and hes brought back Sir Mike Phelan to the fold.

Oles at the wheel, tell me how good does it feel.
