Expert Claims Meghan Markle 'Won't Bring Kids To UK' Despite King Charles' Plea

According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle is reluctant to bring her children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK despite a heartfelt plea from King Charles. The dynamics between Meghan, Prince Harry, and the Royal Family remain tense, and their children have spent very little time in the UK.

King Charles, eager to reunite with his grandchildren, has reportedly extended an olive branch to the Sussexes in hopes of repairing their relationship.

Furthermore, King Charles has invited Meghan and Harry to spend the summer at Balmoral. However, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths is skeptical that Meghan will accept the invitation. "Even if Harry comes, I can't imagine a world in which Meghan comes over with the kids, it's really sad."

During a TalkTV appearance, Charlotte expressed doubt about Meghan's interest in the Balmoral visit, stating emphatically that she sees "no way" Meghan would agree to it. She elaborated: "[Meghan] was never really very enamoured with the rural royal life and the sort of cold two bar radiators and the boot rooms. I mean can you imagine Meghan stalking in the highlands all summer? I can't really to be honest."

These remarks come amidst reports that King Charles, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, is keen to see his grandchildren.

"I can see Charles desperately wanting to see the children, and extending this olive branch to Meghan and Harry. He may decide that life is just too short. Balmoral is truly the perfect, restful place for a reunion. If he does issue an invite, then Harry and Meghan should surely agree to the visit," spilled a source to Page Six.

After their dramatic departure from the Royal Family in 2020, Harry and Meghan have established their new home in the upscale community of Montecito, California. Since stepping back from their royal roles, their visits to the UK have been limited to significant occasions.

The Sussex children, Archie and Lilibet, have made only one trip to the UK, during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebration. Meghan last visited the UK for the Queen's funeral in September 2022, and notably skipped King Charles' Coronation in May 2023, resulting in Harry attending alone.

While a summer retreat at Balmoral seems unlikely, there are rumors that the Duke of Sussex will return next month for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Harry is expected to give a speech at an exclusive event at St Paul's Cathedral in London on May 8.
