During a visit to Loughborough University, the actress-turned-royal was photographed with her new husband, approximately 16 months before their famous announcement to step away from the Royal Family.
Reflecting on this visit, Maia Snow suggests that there were indications that the royal dream might not endure, pointing out how uncomfortable Meghan seemed in the situation during the 2018 photo call.
While Harry appeared comfortable in his role, cracking jokes and casually engaging in activities like throwing a ball around, his partner didn't seem to share the same ease. "With hindsight, photos from the day paint an obvious picture that this was not the world for Meghan."
