Is Avengers: The Kang Dynasty still happening? We finally have some news

Comic-Con 2022: MCU Phase 6 titles and release dates.

I've long said that Marvel should recast the Kang character in order for Avengers 5 to proceed according to the original plan. That is, the highly anticipated sequel's title should still be Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and it should still focus on the Kang character, even if he's played by a different actor. The Kang Dynesty is the prelude we need for the massive battle in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Kang is more important than one actor, and it would be a huge disservice to the Marvel comics and the MCU not to keep Kang as the big villain of the Multiverse Saga. Considering all the progress until now, Kang is the only worthy successor to Thanos (Josh Brolin), the main villain of the Infinity Saga.

A report recently claimed that Marvel will start shooting Avengers 5 next year. I said at the time that Marvel not delaying the next Avengers movies indicates that the title and lead villain will remain unchanged.

We now have more evidence suggesting the Avengers 5 title will not change. On the one hand, a reliable source shared some new info about The Kang Dynasty. Separately, Bob Iger laid out Disney's strategy for the MCU, detailing the expected schedule of movies and TV shows for the coming years.

Before we go any further, I'll warn you that some spoilers might follow below.
