A royal picture of Prince Louis "missing a finger" has resurfaced after Kate Middleton apologized for the photo she edited for Mother's Day.
Now, Kate, 42, has been the subject of a lot of talk after she seemed to fade into the background after a planned January surgery on her abdomen at a private hospital in London. The paparazzi tracked her down in early March while she was out with her mom. It was the first time anyone had seen her in public since Christmas Day.
After that, Kensington Palace put out an official picture and a message from the Princess of Wales over the weekend to celebrate Mother's Day.

But by Sunday night, the picture had been taken down by several news organizations around the world, such as AP, AFP, and Reuters, because it was said to have been "manipulated." Strange things that many people noticed about the picture were that Charlotte's sleeve seems to have been touched up, the window panes are all over the place, there is no reflection in the window, Kate doesn't have her wedding ring on, and her jacket's zipper stops halfway down.
Kate has now replied with a statement saying she's sorry for the "confusion" the picture caused. With the name 'C' on the message, she wrote, "Like many amateur photographers, I do sometimes try out editing." "I want to say I'm sorry if the family picture we shared yesterday caused any misunderstanding."
