Nicki Minaj gives birth to her first child with husband Kenneth Petty


Nicki Minaj has given birth to her first child.


The singer and husband Kenneth "Zoo" Petty, welcomed their baby on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in Los Angeles, People reports. The babys sex and name are not currently known.


Nicki, who is famous for raps such as Anaconda, revealed her pregnancy to the world back in August.




She revealed the news by sharing a number of extravagant photographs of her blossoming baby bump which were clearly taken professionally.


At the time, she took to her official Instagram account to share the snaps with her 123 million followers.


The rapper donned a stunning yellow wig for the snaps and went all out with her glittery outfits.


Nicki cradled her bump as she donned a eye-catching floral bikini and a colourful wig.


The hitmaker whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty - ensured she caused chaos with the post as she simply captioned it "Preggers.


Another caption read: "Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes."

The rapper and her beau, who has been convicted of manslaughter and registered as a sex offender, tied the knot less than a year after their romance began.


Nicki has long referred to Kenneth as her "husband", but she announced in October 2019 that it was finally official by telling the world she's changed her name.
