Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos divides opinion among fans for his no-nonsense style on the pitch.
The Spain defender is among the best centre-backs in the world and he's prone to flying into, sometimes rash, challenges and getting involved in scuffles.
His gesture to a nine-year-old fan from Dublin was pure class though.
Cillian Byrne is a big Real fan and his mother Iseult posted a picture of Cillian with a drawing of Ramos, hoping for a reply from the 32-year-old.
@SergioRamos -my son Cillian (9) from Dublin, Ireland worked really hard to make this drawing of you. He is a RealMadrid Fan & a Fan of yours. You are his favorite player & best defender in the world. He wanted you to see it & hopes you like it (he is training to be a goalkeeper) pic.twitter.com/45nmow85qf

Ramos thanked Cillian for the drawing, while he was flattered with the rating the youngster gave him.
Thank you very much for your drawing and your support, Cillian. Never had a 102 rating before... Keep it up!! https://t.co/HdHf1U0606

Ramos will be crucial if Real are successful in their quest for three Champions League titles on the trot.
They face Liverpool in Kiev next Saturday and the Spaniard will probably be tasked with the unenviable task of trying to keep Mohamed Salah quiet.
