This is what Katy Perry thinks Normal People should be renamed to

The mother-to-be said the show should be renamed to something more relevant

Hear that Sally Rooney and Element Pictures? Katy Perry is the latest among the growing list of celebrities to have watched the BBC adaptation.

The mother-to-be hilariously gave her opinion on what Normal People should be renamed to and boy did it give us a laugh.

As you are aware there are numerous sex scenes throughout the 12-part series, portraying the care and respect two young people have for one another who are in love.

After watching Normal People, the pop superstar tweeted:"The show should be renamed: "We Have Much More Sex Than NORMAL PEOPLE"

Her tweet has since been liked by over 30k followers in less than 24 hours and she joins a number of fellow famous faces to have announced their admiration for Normal People including Sia, James Corden, Kourtney Kardashian and Chris O'Dowd.

Not too long after actor Paul Mescal shared a cover of himself singing Chandelier, Sia reshared his video and expressed her love for the show.

While there is no confirmation of a second season of Normal People executive producers of the show have not ruled a second season out all together.

Here's to hoping after the Normal People crew and Sally Rooney finish creating a TV adaptation of Conversations With Friends they will set their sights on continuing the story of Marianne and Connell.
