Two of the three have been charged and appeared before the courts this morning in connection with the incident
Two men and one woman were arrested in connection with 245,000 worth of cocaine being seized at Dublin Airport on Sunday.
At approximately 7:50pm on September 20 gardai were alerted to the fact three passengers in their 20s had been detained at Dublin Airport on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The three individuals had arrived in Dublin via a flight from mainland Europe and ingested a combined approximate of 280 pellets of suspected cocaine worth 245,000.
A garda spokesperson said: "All three persons were arrested and taken to Ballymun Garda Station detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
"One of the arrested men and the woman have since been charged in relation to this incident and they are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 4, on 22/09/2020 at 10:30am. The other male remains in Garda custody at this time."
