The Duchess of Sussex is diving back into the world of podcasts.
On Thursday, the Suits star announced her latest podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, on Instagram. The first season will consist of 8 episodes, with the first set to air on April 8. Each episode will feature unfiltered stories behind the successes of notable female founders, while also sneaking a peek behind the curtain of Meghan’s own entrepreneurial journey launching her lifestyle brand, As ever.
“I’m so proud of what we’re creating, and the candid conversations that I’m able to have with other female founders as we unpack the twists and turns of building a business,” Meghan said of her new project. “Through my friendships and relationships, we’re able to dive into the type of insights that everyone wants to know as they’re building a business, and that I’m able to tap into as I’m building my own business with As ever.”
The podcast came from Lemonada Media, who’s no stranger to producing celebrity-fronted podcasts. Their portfolio includes Wiser Than Me by Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Hard Feelings with Jennette McCurdy and Choice Words with Samantha Bee.
Confessions of a Female Founder will be Meghan’s second shot at hosting a podcast after 2022’s Archetypes. Described as a podcast investigating “the labels that try to hold women back”, it was part of the Sussexes’ lucrative deal with Spotify, which was terminated prematurely in 2023.
