“Squid Game 3” Release Tension-Filled New Teaser

Looks like the game must go on after the bloody cliffhanger at the last season of Squid Game.

The just released trailer for Squid Game 3 teased a tension filled continuation of where we left off last December. We also get a glimpse of the fates of our remaining characters and a brand new game sure to be just as deadly as the others. 

(Spoiler alert!!!)

The trailer began with a casket. Now that Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae)’s rebellion plan has been foiled by the Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), he is returned unconscious to the participants’ dorm in the ribboned casket, forced to continue playing. Then we see a glimpse of what they’re playing next, a game involving red and blue balls, and the return of a familiar game from season 1. All the while, the various players are shown in different degrees of distress – before the trailer ends with the cry of a newborn. Is Junhee finally giving birth mid-playing? What would it mean for their fate?

All that will be answered on June 27, when season 3 premiered on Netflix.
